We work exclusively with the oldest and finest manufacturer of Judaica Embroidery in Israel. They opened their doors as a small storefront in Jerusalem in 1929 and today the 3rd generation continues the tradition of excellence.

Each Torah cover comes with a back vent, which our embroiderer feels is preferable to side vents. The back vent makes it much easier to put on and remove the Torah cover. The top holes are reinforced with attractive, wood reinforcement-rings in an appropriate color.

In addition to the Torah covers shown, we specialize in custom designs.

  1. Create your own design, or we will design one for you.
  2. Mix 'n match from our standard design, choose one of our standard designs and change the wording or create your own totally new design!
  3. Choose from a variety of materials, trims, and colors.
  4. Contact us for details!

Contact us if you are interested in ordering bein gavras, the flat, embroidered cover placed over the Torah between Aliyahs (those called to the Torah).

How to Order

First, choose a Torah cover. Then you will be able to choose your options, such as colors, belt style, trim design, size, and dedication. Follow the Steps below.

Please Note:

  1. Hand-embroidered Torah covers are generally stocked in dark navy and in a few standard sizes. For other colors, sizes, and custom designs, please contact us.
  2. A special-ordered, hand-embroidered Torah cover will require approximately 8 weeks to ship.
  3. Occasionally, regular-stock, hand-embroidered Torah covers may be temporarily out of stock and will also require up to 8 weeks to ship. We suggest that you contact us before making your online purchase to confirm that the Torah cover of your choice is available.
  4. Special-order, machine-embroidered Torah covers require approximately 2 to 4 weeks to ship while some standard-stock machine-embroidered covers require up to 2 weeks to ship.

Step 3: Choose a Velvet Color for Machine-Embroidered Covers. (Before ordering a hand-embroidered cover, please contact us first to see if it is in stock as it will require approximately 8 weeks to ship an out-of-stock hand-embroidered cover. If time is not an issue, then continue with your order.)

Please note that the colors of the embroidered designs may not be the same as shown. The colors chosen are dependant on the velvet color and at the discretion of the embroiderer. If you want to request a specific color scheme please contact us before placing your order to see if possible and if there will be an additional cost.

Step 4: Choose the Top and Bottom Trim styles. We cannot offer specific options as the trims and styles often change, but you can choose the general style.

Narrow, Straight Trim without Fringes
Leave to the discretion of the embroiderer

Bottom Trim:

Standard Fringes
"Bell-shaped" Fringes
Narrow, Straight Trim without Fringes

Step 5: Choose the Dedication for your Torah cover. Each character, Hebrew or English, is $0.65 each.

Please note that some covers have somewhat limited space on the front for a dedication. If your dedication is so long that there will be a problem fitting it all onto the front of the cover, or if the letters will need to be made quite small in order to accomodate the entire text of the dedication, we will contact you.

Step 6: If you are not ordering the Torah Rollers from us, specify the size of the Torah Rollers. (Skip this Step if you are purchasing Torah Rollers from us. We will be sure that the cover fits properly.)

How To Measure Rollers

Height: Measure the Torah rollers from the top of the higher, upper plate, to the bottom of the lower plate.

Width: Measure from the outside of the right plate to the outside of the left plate.

I am ordering Torah Rollers as well so you can choose the correct Torah cover size for me.
I already have Torah Rollers and I will specify the Height and Width below.

Measure Height

Measure Width

Specify:
Height in Inches
Or
Height in Centimeters
Width in Inches
Or
Width in Centimeters
If the Torah rollers are of a different height (either shorter or taller) or width (either narrower or wider) than the choices that can be selected above, then the Torah cover may not be considered a standard order and may cost more and some designs may not be available. Please contact us with your roller measurements and we will provide a price quote.
